Start your day early by departing for River Ventures in Crystal River. Arrive at River Ventures for one of our 6:30 AM manatee swim tours.

6:30 AM – 9:30 AM - Manatee Encounter

Enjoy your guided manatee snorkel tour with River Ventures. Your tour will last approximately 3 hours and you will explore the wonders of Kings Bay. Experience the magic of swimming alongside these gentle giants in the crystal-clear springs. Your in-water swim guide will take photos of your experiences and manatee interactions! You can then purchase these photos from the front desk and keep those memories forever.

Mid-Morning

10:00 AM – 10:30 AM - Refreshments

Now that you’ve worked up an appetite after your early morning swim, head to a local café for a quick bite or coffee. Consider checking out Vintage on the 5th for a delightful brunch to recharge for your next adventure on the 1.5-hour airboat ride at River Safaris.

Late Morning/Early Afternoon

Drive to Homosassa, which is just about a 15-minute drive South of River Ventures, for an exciting Airboat Ride. Explore the marshes of Homosassa and a ride out into the Gulf of Mexico. Marvel at the diverse wildlife, including manatees, dolphins, and various bird species.

12:45 PM– 2:30 PM – Lunch at the Monkey Bar and Grill
